Play & Conduct On The Course

  • Players searching for a ball must signal the players behind them to pass as soon as it becomes apparent the ball will not easily be found and should not continue their play until the players following them have passed and are out of range.
  • A ball is lost if it is not found by the player within five minutes after the player’s side or his or their caddies have begun to search for it.
  • Slow players should show consideration to faster players by calling them through. If a match fails to keep it’s place on the course and loses more than one clear hole on the players in front, it must allow the match following to pass. The lowest marker in each group is responsible for the conduct and etiquette of the group.
  • Players are advised that subject to weather conditions, hand buggies may be wheeled across the greens.
  • Players are obliged to pick up immediately when they have failed to score in stableford and par competitions.
  • Members are not permitted to purchase golf balls from persons on the course.
  • Members are requested not to interfere with the automatic watering system, as they are very expensive to repair.
  • Play in groups of more than four players, either competition or social play, must be approved by the General Manager or Director of Golf.
  • Appropriate pin placements are indicated by the colour of the flag Red Front section of green White Centre section of green Yellow Rear section of green
  • Distance markers are to the centre of the green.
  • All players must have their own set of clubs.
