Today on Greenkeepers Appreciation Day, Oatlands Golf Club is thrilled to unveil our new Husqvarna Ceora autonomous fairway mowers, installed today by @husqvarnaaustralia
These battery‑powered marvels will cut our carbon footprint by approximately 80% compared to traditional petrol fairway mowers, freeing up our team to focus on other course projects and operating quietly without disturbing golfers or neighbours.
Paired with our new Stihl battery blowers, whipper snippers, and vacs, we`re excited to continue delivering top-tier playing surfaces today for members and guests of the Club!

We are pleased to introduce our new 7th hole. Measuring 127 metres from the plates and designed by renowned course architect James Wilcher, this par 3 will replace the former 18th hole in our routing.

Another milestone at the Club last night with the Farewell to Clubhouse event held with close to 250 members in attendance.
The evening featured some wonderful speeches from some our longest serving members recounting fond stories and memories of their time at the Club and attendees were well entertained by the musical stylings of the QC Collective band.
Special thanks to all who attended in making the evening such a success and to our wonderful Oatlands GC team for the delivery of a wonderfully coordinated event.

We’re incredibly proud of Jeremy Ward, Head Professional at Oatlands Golf Club, on his recent recognition by the Australian PGA for his outstanding work mentoring the next generation of PGA Members. Jeremy’s dedication to nurturing young professionals is a reflection of the values we hold at Oatlands—professionalism, leadership, and community.
Jeremy’s impact can be seen in the growth and success of the Associates he supervises. Sam Reece, currently in his second year under Jeremy’s guidance, has become the go-to for club repairs at the club. Max Dakic, a 2025 graduate, recently accepted a role as Assistant Professional at the prestigious Montecito Club in California. Their development speaks volumes about the supportive and empowering environment Jeremy has created.
Jeremy’s approach is simple but powerful—give young professionals real responsibility, help them grow, and continue to mentor them well beyond their time at the club. As Jeremy puts it: “I see myself as being responsible for the finished product after three years and I also feel a continued responsibility to mentor them even after their time with me has ended.” Congratulations, Jeremy – your leadership is shaping the future of golf at Oatlands.
