HOW TO JOIN

A limited number of Memberships are available in certain Categories.

To join Oatlands Golf Club you must be nominated and seconded by members . If, however, you do not know a member to introduce you there is a provision to provide at least two letters of introduction from upstanding members of the community eg: doctor, lawyer, accountant, bank manager, your employer or a club you may already belong to. The Board of Directors may, at its discretion, seek further references in relation to any applicant for membership.

FULL PLAYING:
Persons who have attained the age of 36 years and have full access to the course, competitions and facilities.

6 DAY MEMBERS
6 Day Members have the same rights as Full Playing member except that they are not permitted to play in the Saturday competitions. Sunday ? Friday competition play only.

5 DAY WEDNESDAY
5 Day Wednesday playing member is a person who has attained the age of 36 years, 5 Day Wednesday members are not permitted to play in the Saturday or Sunday competitions.

5 DAY SUNDAY
5 Day Sunday playing member is a person who has attained the age of 36 years, 5 Day Sunday members are not permitted to play in the Wednesday or Saturday competitions.

LIMITED PLAYING MEMBERS:
A Limited Playing Member is entitled to 35 games per year, of which a maximum of 10 competition games per year.

COUNTRY MEMBERS:
Members whose usual place of residence is outside a radius of 100kms from the clubhouse are entitled to become Country Members. Country members are entitled to fifteen (15) competition games and unlimited social play per year.

INTERNATIONAL MEMBERS:
Place of residence outside of Australia. International members are entitled to fifteen (15) competition games and unlimited social play per year.


INTERMEDIATE PLAYING MEMBERS:

Intermediate 1: An intermediate 1 playing member is a person who has attained the age of 18 years, but is under the age of 24 years. Intermediate 1 members have full access to the course and facilities.

Intermediate 1 Sunday; An Intermediate 1 Sunday playing member is a person who has attained the age of 18 years, but is under the age of 24 years. Intermediate 1 Sunday members have the same rights as an Intermediate 1 member except that they are not permitted to play in the Wednesday or Saturday competitions.


Intermediate 2: An intermediate 2 playing member is a person who has attained the age of 24 years, but is under the age of 30 years. Intermediate 2 members have full access to the course and facilities.

Intermediate 2 Sunday: An Intermediate 2 Sunday playing member is a person who has attained the age of 24 years, but is under the age of 30 years. Intermediate 2 Sunday members have the same rights as an Intermediate 2 member except that they are not permitted to play in the Wednesday or Saturday competitions.


Intermediate 3: An intermediate 3 playing member is a person who has attained the age of 30 years, but is under the age of 36 years. Intermediate 3 members have full access to the course and facilities.

Intermediate 3 Sunday: An Intermediate 3 Sunday playing member is a person who has attained the age of 30 years, but is under the age of 36 years. Intermediate 3 Sunday members have the same rights as an Intermediate 3 member except that they are not permitted to play in the Wednesday or Saturday competitions.


JUNIOR PLAYING MEMBERS:
A Junior playing member is a person who has attained the age of 10 years, but is under the age of 18 years. Junior members must be accompanied by an adult member at all times.

NON-PLAYING MEMBERS:
A Non-Playing Member is entitled to all the social privileges of the Club to entertain guests, this category has no playing rights. A Non-Playing Member is not entitled to use any reciprocal arrangements.

ABSENTEE MEMBERS:
People who live outside NSW & ACT for a minimum of twelve (12) months are entitled to become Absentee Members. It is the members' responsibility to advise the Club when they have returned to NSW so that they can be transferred to their original membership category. Absentee Members are entitled to use course 5 times per year, but are not entitled to bring visitors (for golf), or use Reciprocal Clubs.

HOUSE MEMBERS:
A House Member is entitled to use the clubhouse facilities but is not entitled to play on the course or use any of the practice facilities at any time.
