Ever wanted to try something new but didn’t know how?
Oatlands Golf Club are proud to announce a “Get Started” programme that introduces golf to people who have not yet experienced this challenging and rewarding game.
Join in the fun as our Director of Golf and his team takes you through the basic elements including, the correct grip, chipping and putting, to the full swing and on-course play.
When does it start?
Programmes run throughout the year and are held on a Monday (Ladies Only) and Sunday (Mixed Classes).

What does the programme involve?
You start with an induction and morning tea and straight after a cup of tea and finger sandwich you start your 8 week programme (8 x 45 minute sessions with a Teaching Professional) and as we believe there is more to golf than swinging a club you will also receive a fitness voucher to try out one of our “Get Fit” classes.
Do I need clubs & can I bring a friend?
We will lend you what you need (We can’t promise they work that bit will be up to you) and we encourage you to bring along as many friends as possible.
Do I get to play the course and what do I wear?
At the completion of the course you will be given the opportunity of returning to the Club were you can practice what you learnt. As to your attire you need to check out the dress requirements shown on the Club’s website.
Well, what does it cost?
The cost of the “Get Started” programme is $45 a week (This is payable up front).
But wait there’s more….
Once you have completed your programme you can apply for membership and to provide you with a little bit of incentive we will deduct the cost of the “Get Started” programme and credit the remaining entrance fee to the Professional Shop where you will be able to treat yourself to the latest gear and perhaps even another lesson or two.
